SPS - Smart Production Solutions Guangzho aims to showcase the latest advances in industrial automation technology and further synchronize China's intelligent manufacturing industry with international standards. At the same time, it aims to facilitate the entry of international automation companies into the regional manufacturing market. Led by government initiatives to drive China's new industrialization development strategy and boost economic growth, a growing number of Chinese manufacturing companies are turning to intelligent automation technologies. SPS - Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou, as a central meeting point for the manufacturing sector, aims to promote the exchange of international and domestic players, according to the organizers.

Around 700 exhibitors registered

The event will take place from March 4 to 6 and will cover 40,000 m² in three halls, covering topics including drive systems and motion control, sensor technologies, control technologies, interface technologies, human-machine interfaces, mechanical infrastructure, industrial communication, manufacturing software and more. Around 700 exhibitors have registered for the show, including companies such as Autonics, BBH (ESTUNBBH), Beckhoff, Bernstein, Binder, Bonfiglioli, Cognex, Controlway, Daheng, Datalogic, Dinkle, ifm and Schmersal.

To better support European brands and their Chinese subsidiaries that want to expand their market presence in Asia, Messe 2024 will set up a dedicated European pavilion. The area is designed to facilitate international collaborations, with a focus on German and Italian companies this year. European exhibitors include DETAS, Endless Sensor, Inxepct, Samac and others; they will present their solutions in the fields of sensor technologies, control technologies, machine infrastructure and non-standardized automation devices, among others.

Extensive supporting program

Given the increasingly important role of industry, the exhibition will also feature a pavilion dedicated to industrial digitalization and information technologies. This area will focus on current trends in software and communication technologies and their applications in industry. The Guangzhou International Digitization & Informatization Forum (IndDigital) will also take place here. The forum will discuss how these technologies can be used in downstream industries.

As in previous years, the fair will be complemented by a series of summits, forums, panel discussions and product launches. These include Intelligent Manufacturing + Future, Dialogue with Hidden Champion, the Seminar - Industrial Communications, Smart Industry Solutions Seminar - New Energy, Automotive Industry - Intelligent Manufacturing Forum, and the Time-Sensitive Networking Technology (TSN) Conference - TSN in Practice.

Parallel events

Two other manufacturing exhibitions will be held at the same time as SPS - Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou 2024: Guangzhou Industrial Technology, which is dedicated to promoting China's smart manufacturing industry, and Asiamold Select - Guangzhou, which showcases the latest technologies in mold making, die casting and 3D printing.
