New president at Farnell

Avnet has appointed Rebeca Obregon as the new President of Farnell, an Avnet company, effective July 1, 2024. Farnell is a high-service distributor of electronic components.

Rebeca Obregon joined Avnet's leadership team in 2023 as Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Engagements and Supplier Management. She leads Avnet's United, Velocity and Integrated business units, IP&E (interconnect, passive components and electromechanical products), supplier management and strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Obregon has more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Avnet, she was Corporate Vice President at Amkor Technology.

Farnell Global is a distributor of products and technologies for the design, maintenance and repair of electronic and industrial systems.
