This year, Jugend forscht awarded the national prize in the field of mathematics / computer science to Vladimir Danila (17). He has developed an inexpensive alternative to expensive computer programs for graphic designers and artists that only work properly on powerful processors. His software 'Vectornator Pro' runs on tablets and smartphones and has a similar range of functions to the expensive professional programs. Created graphics can be enlarged to any size without becoming blurred. Around 2000 users have already tested his software extensively in a beta version.
