After ten years of growth and a doubling of sales in plastics and rubber machinery, the turning point has been reached: the VDMA is forecasting a drop in sales of at least 10% for 2019.

After three years at the top, the USA took second place among the most important sales countries. With a total value of 820 million euros, 3% fewer plastics and rubber machines were exported there than in 2017.
