Researchers at TU Kaiserslautern and DFKI are working on an intelligent textbook for tablets and computers in the 'HyperMind' project. With the help of integrated sensors, it should help to identify pupils' strengths and weaknesses at an early stage.

"There are already learning techniques on the market that test students' level of knowledge. But only learning success plays a role here," says physics professor Dr. Jochen Kuhn from TU Kaiserslautern (pictured right). It is not possible to test whether someone takes longer than average to solve a math problem, for example, because they have problems with mathematical formulas.
