Product presentationsNews at the Sensor+Test 2016
From May 10 to 12, around 580 exhibitors at Sensor+Test will be presenting their latest products from the fields of sensor and measurement technology. Computer&AUTOMATION shows a selection of these in a picture gallery.

The Ticro 100 PTP time converter from Omicron is designed to enable precise time synchronization of non-PTP-capable measuring devices, sensors and controllers via Ethernet in accordance with IEEE 1588. For this purpose, the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) is converted into conventional time reference signals such as IRIG-B, DCF77 or PPX signals. These time reference signals can be assigned to different outputs via a web interface. A 10 MHz reference signal is also available. In the event of a PTP signal failure or a network fault, the integrated, highly stable reference oscillator provides a time reference signal for up to 24 hours. The PTP power profile in accordance with IEEE C37.238 is supported for the synchronization of protection and automation devices in energy technology. Together with the antenna-integrated 'PTP Grandmaster Clock' OTMC 100, the converter offers a compact and flexible option for the local generation of time reference signals, according to the manufacturer.
