Variohm EuroSensor is launching the Euro-XPK angle sensor in disk format (puck version) with programmable measuring ranges, which is designed for over 100 million rotary movements. The Hall sensor in an 8 mm high IP68 housing works contact-free with a separately mounted magnet, which is available in different dimensions. The axial mounting tolerance is ±3 mm. Mounting slots allow radial tolerances of up to 24°. The angle sensor is part of the supplier's 'XP' series, in which other housing shapes are also available. Common to all are the factory-programmable measuring ranges between 20° and 360° in 10° increments and the ratiometric output signal corresponding to the supply voltage of 5 V(DC) (±0.5 V). The angle sensor combination with a linearity of 0.5 % and a repeat accuracy of 0.2 % works absolutely and does not need to be readjusted after a power failure. Originally designed for motorsport applications, the angle sensors offer high vibration resistance in accordance with IEC 60068-2-6.
