The potentiometric level sensor CombiLevel PLP70 from Baumer detects levels of process media with very low conductivity.
Posic is launching two new scales for the ID1102L and ID4501L linear encoders. The TPLS04 scale has a length of 26 mm, while the TPLS05 is 205 mm long. The scale width of 4.5 mm and the thickness of 0.77 mm match the very small dimensions of the encoders, making them suitable for applications with tight installation spaces. The scale is an FR4 printed circuit board with copper strips with an accuracy of ±10 µm and a resolution of up to 0.02 µm. It does not attract ferromagnetic dust or particles, is insensitive to moisture, grease, oil, liquids, does not need to be cleaned before operation and also works in strong magnetic fields. The scale has an adhesive backing with release film for quick and easy mounting. Typical applications are linear direct drives, Z-motion in pick and place machines, robotics, life science devices, microfluidics, microscope stages, piezo motors and plunger coils.
