This allows customized solutions to be implemented according to individual customer requirements. The AppSpace combines software and hardware and consists of two elements: the programmable sensors and the 'AppStudio', a development system for applications. The flexible architecture and programmable devices make it possible to generate data for cloud services in the context of Industry 4.0. The software is located in the sensor and can pass on information directly from it. This provides users with optimum support in the areas of quality control, traceability and predictive maintenance.
