Christoph Beckenbauer is the new General Manager Memory
Christoph Beckenbauer joined Swissbit on February 1 as the new General Manager Memory. With extensive experience in the areas of embedded systems and cybersecurity, he takes over the management of the Memory division.
Beckenbauer will continue the company's strategic course and further expand Swissbit's role as a provider of secure and reliable storage solutions for demanding industrial applications. Beckenbauer joins from Swiss security provider Legic Identsystems, where he was General Manager for more than nine years. He had overall responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the company with over 100 employees and drove Legic's transformation from a pure hardware provider to a provider of combined hardware and service solutions. Prior to this, he held management positions at BenQ and Siemens, among others.
His predecessor, Roger Griesemer, is moving to the 'Systems & Technology' division within Swissbit. In this new role, he will focus primarily on the adaptation of technology trends.
Swissbit, founded in 2001, develops and manufactures innovative solutions for data storage, data protection and digital identities. The company's solutions are used in industries such as industrial automation, network and communication technologies, edge computing, transportation, critical infrastructures, defence and the public sector.
