Safety relay in IP67
Bihl+Wiedemann is expanding its functional safety range with the BWU4379 I/O module for ASi Safety at Work with IP67 protection.
The safety relay in IP67 from Bihl+Wiedemann has a safe relay output with galvanically isolated contact sets, a two-channel safe input up to SIL3/ Cat. 4 for potential-free contacts and a digital input. The safe output can be used to create a safely switched AUX branch in the field and thus passive safety, and the relay can also be used to safely couple different system parts with different potentials - in IP67 with a simple M12 cable. The module is supplied with ASi and AUX via profile cables using penetration technology. The peripherals are connected via four five-pin M12 sockets.
