According to the provider HMS Networks, maturity level 3 represents a significant milestone on the path to cyber security for the 'Anybus' product brand. By integrating cyber security measures into its operations and products, the company has cemented its position as a trusted technology partner in industrial automation. HMS received the certification after demonstrating that its product development and lifecycle management processes met the stringent criteria of the standard during the development of two new Anybus products.

Bartek Candell, Senior Vice President Control Centric, comments: "In an increasingly connected industry, every component of a network must be protected against cyber security threats. Our focus in the Anybus business unit is to provide our customers with the most secure products to help them protect their critical infrastructure. Achieving IEC 62443-4-1 certification for maturity level 3 is a testament to our commitment and the importance we place on cyber security."

"For our customers, the certification of our Anybus development site means that they can achieve a high level of security in their automation devices, machines and systems with our products without the need for their own comprehensive security expertise," says Thilo Döring, Managing Director of HMS Industrial Networks.
