In his keynote speech, Daniel Bartz, Specialist Security & Identification at EBV Elektronik, will outline the path to a secure factory, including hot topics such as smart factory apps, secure cloud, the use of hardware security solutions such as TPMs and crypto chips, as well as secure communication between controllers, sensors and actuators.

"Don't give criminal hackers a chance!" is the motto of the specialist for security and identification at EBV, who previously worked for the smart card and security solution manufacturer Giesecke & Devrient for several years.

After the keynote speech, lawyer Susanne Meiners from NewTec will discuss liability law issues relating to Industry 4.0 & Co, explain the current state of the legal debate on electronic systems and technical products and provide ideas on how to reduce the causes of damage and thus avert recourse claims, recalls or other (image) damage. In the following presentation, participants will be able to experience a live demonstration of an attack against industrial systems.

Hacking expert Martin Sturm, Triforx, will demonstrate a whole range of attack scenarios - from the pure collection of information to manipulation and sabotage of the process.

Following this, three parallel sessions will discuss the various requirement profiles from the industrial and automotive markets, while another session will be dedicated to the methods and tools that can be used to ensure safety and security during system development. In addition to the lecture sessions, a workshop on the topic of code coverage on microcontrollers is also on the program on the second day of the conference.

At the accompanying trade exhibition on July 5 and 6, 2017, manufacturers and service providers will present their latest products and interesting applications and will be available for in-depth technical discussions.
