The strategic partnership underlines Kaspersky's commitment to the safe and sustainable use of artificial intelligence to drive innovation and create a more sustainable world.

AIM Global was founded in 2023 and promotes the responsible development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) and other future technologies. In line with the UN Secretary-General's 'Our Common Agenda' initiative, AIM Global aims to promote the responsible, sustainable and inclusive use of AI in industry. To this end, the Alliance brings together governments, international organizations, the private sector and industry leaders who recognize the transformative potential of AI.

Kaspersky has extensive experience with AI and ML algorithms and has been using them in its solutions for almost 20 years. Through its membership, the company is helping AIM Global to unleash the full potential of AI for industry and promote best practices for the use of AI in industry and manufacturing. As part of the membership, Kaspersky will help promote best practices for the use of AI in industry and manufacturing by sharing the expertise it has gathered at its Kaspersky AI Technology Research Center, which focuses on AI research and AI-powered threat detection and solutions.

In addition, the collaboration with AIM Global will enable Kaspersky to raise awareness of the conscious use of AI worldwide. In particular, it will highlight the potential cybersecurity risks that AI can bring to everyday life - from smart home devices to robotic manufacturing. Kaspersky continuously analyzes the potential impact of AI tools on the cybersecurity landscape and is committed to the ethical use of AI. As early as 2023, the company presented its ethical principles for the use of AI at the United Nations Internet Governance Forum. These principles are in line with AIM Global's guidelines for the responsible use of AI in the industry. These include:

- Transparency and accountability,
- inclusivity,
- collaboration and innovation,
- reliability and security, and
- data protection.

As a member of the Alliance, Kaspersky is also committed to these principles.
