<p>Figure 1: The weak point of an OTA update solution is the central server on the Internet. The update files uploaded by the maintainer are temporarily stored there and downloaded directly or indirectly by the target devices. If an attacker gains access to the update server, they can manipulate all target devices in the supply chain.</p>
