Who better to get to the heart of the threats posed by cyber attacks than those affected themselves? Ernst Esslinger from Homag vividly outlined the challenge of IT security from the perspective of a machine and plant manufacturer and also reported on the current status of the IUNO research project. The aim of the latter is to provide small and medium-sized companies in particular with a "toolbox" for dealing with security.
