Pilz exceeded the 300 million euro sales mark for the first time in 2016. 2017 is characterized by a generational change: At the end of the year, Renate Pilz will hand over the operational business completely into the hands of her children Susanne Kunschert and Thomas Pilz.
Genuine human-robot collaboration (HRC) does not require safety fences between humans and robots. Pilz will be demonstrating how this can be implemented safely on the exhibition stand using the example of an HRC application safeguarded according to the principle of power and force limitation. Two new products for safe HRC will be used here. With the PROBms force and pressure measurement system, Pilz offers a complete package for the validation of HRC applications. The set includes a collision measuring device in accordance with ISO/TS 15066. The force and pressure measuring system is available internationally on a rental basis.
