3 questions for...Schubert System Elektronik"Partner at eye level"
If companies rely on IIoT concepts in plants, the choice of suitable security plays a major role as networking increases. For Marcus Finkbeiner, the trend topic of edge computing is of central importance for a secure process along the value chain.

The 52-year-old is no stranger to Schubert System Elektronik. After studying electrical energy and automation technology and starting his career at Klöckner Desma, he joined the then very successful Leukhardt System-Elektronik (now Schubert System Elektronik) at the beginning of 2000 as an application engineer and later looked after important key accounts. This was followed by responsible positions at Baumüller, Rockwell Automation and Sick Vertriebs-GmbH, where he was able to gain a great deal of experience before returning to manage and expand sales of industrial computer products and systems.
"I see huge growth potential at Schubert, especially in the IIoT environment. A large market with almost infinite possibilities in edge and cloud computing, intelligent system and software solutions or high-quality components opens up a great opportunity for us - we now need to tackle it properly. With decades of experience in the development of customer-specific solutions, Schubert System Elektronik has the best foundation," says Marcus Finkbeiner.
