Controller for high safety requirements
The BPC 9102S remote field controller from Phoenix Contact is a controller based on PLCnext technology that has been specially developed for applications with the highest safety requirements or under extreme conditions.
The controller uses an Intel Core i7-10700TE octa-core processor and two processors based on ARM architecture. Developed for use in extreme conditions with a fanless design, it can be used at temperatures from -20 to +60 °C. Thanks to the eight-core processor, high-level language programs, open source software such as Docker or Matlab Simulink, for example, can be executed simultaneously with the control program without compromising real-time capability. According to Phoenix Contact, machine safety is ensured by diverse processors and support for up to 300 Profisafe participants.
