The area gripper can be used flexibly thanks to a wide range of configuration options. Every user can configure 'their' area gripper exactly according to their needs. It is available in three sizes (240 mm × 120 mm, 320 mm × 160 mm, 350 mm × 250 mm), with two types of gripping surfaces (foam or suction pad) and with or without an integrated vacuum generator. A choice of three mounting interfaces and six connection cables is available. This makes it compatible with all common cobots. According to Coval, a multi-stage pump achieves higher performance. Thanks to this equipment and the lightness of the housing, which is made of a carbon structure that is 2.5 times lighter than steel and at the same time 6 times stronger, it can carry heavier loads. The gripper is equipped with edge protection made of flexible and resistant material to protect operators in the event of contact.
