Load capacity up to 8 kg
A payload of up to 8 kg and a reach of 1018 mm are among the features of the 'Horst1000' robot kinematics system that fruitcore robotics is launching on the market.
The completely newly developed robot kinematics build on existing technologies, whereby the patented robot gearbox has been optimized with the help of a machine learning algorithm. With the introduction of this model, the predecessor 'Horst900' will be discontinued. The new all-rounder has a payload capacity of up to 8 kg and a reach of 1018 mm The developers at fruitcore placed particular focus on the robot's workspace: the three-dimensional workspace has been increased by 40% compared to Horst900, meaning that 50% larger trays can be processed. From the base, the new model can travel around 230 mm further forward than its predecessor, which corresponds to a 43 % longer linear path. According to the supplier, higher acceleration values of the individual axes in the nominal load range also ensure shorter cycle times.
Thanks to its reach and workspace design, the robot is particularly suitable for loading and unloading machine tools, especially lathes and milling machines
