Kuka
Peter Mohnen leaves the ship
Peter Mohnen, CEO of Kuka, is leaving the company in July at his own request. His successor is to be announced shortly.
Mohnen joined Kuka in 2012 as CFO and became CEO in 2018. He held a position on the Executive Board for a total of 13 years. As CEO of Kuka, he successfully stabilized the company and guided it safely through global changes and challenges such as the coronavirus pandemic or tensions on the world markets, for example due to the war in Ukraine.
"Peter Mohnen has successfully transformed the company into a global, customer-oriented and innovative technology group and led the Kuka Group to historic sales and earnings records. We very much regret Peter Mohnen's departure and wish him all the best and continued success in his future career and life," says Kuka's Supervisory Board Chairman Andy Gu.
Peter Mohnen: "I look back on my time at Kuka with pride and gratitude. Together with our customers and partners, we have helped to shape automation worldwide, overcome challenges and drive forward innovations that will shape the Kuka Group's strategy in the coming years. I would particularly like to thank the entire management team - and above all the Kuka employees. The spirit that Kuka employees around the world live by is truly unique. Being part of this team has always been something special for me. I am an enthusiastic Kuka employee and will remain connected to the company and continue to follow its development, even if it is time for me to move on to a new chapter". Peter Mohnen will leave Kuka on July 01, 2025.
The Supervisory Board also decided to extend the contract of Kuka's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Alexander Tan for a further three years.
