The projects of Festo's 'Bionic Learning Network' are always worth an eye-catcher. This year, the company presented the indoor flying object 'FreeMotionHandling' at the Hannover Messe.

Eight adaptive drives and the entire on-board electronics are installed on the flight ring, which could therefore also be used without the helium sphere. Eight circuit boards are embedded in the filigree carbon structure, whose curved shape ensures high vibration stability, on which a total of four lift motors and four control motors as well as the integrated radio and sensor technology are located.
