Yaskawa EuropeRobot factory officially opened in Slovenia
After around two years of construction, the Japanese technology group Yaskawa officially opened its new robot production facility and a new European robotics development center at its site in Kočevje, Slovenia, on 8 April in front of around 300 invited guests.

Masahiro Ogawa, Executive Officer Yaskawa Electric Corp. and General Manager Robotics Division, emphasized in his speech: "Our goal is to shorten supply chains and delivery times in order to respond more quickly to regional market requirements as well as customer requests - not only with the new plant, but also with a large European robotics development center."
