Yaskawa EuropeRobot factory officially opened in Slovenia

After around two years of construction, the Japanese technology group Yaskawa officially opened its new robot production facility and a new European robotics development center at its site in Kočevje, Slovenia, on 8 April in front of around 300 invited guests.

Headquartered in Eschborn, Germany, Yaskawa Europe recently generated annual sales of over 600 million euros with more than 1,900 employees across Europe. Yaskawa's European Robotics Division, based in Allershausen near Munich - pictured here is the extension opened at the beginning of January 2018 - currently employs around 300 people.
