Yaskawa EuropeRobot factory officially opened in Slovenia
After around two years of construction, the Japanese technology group Yaskawa officially opened its new robot production facility and a new European robotics development center at its site in Kočevje, Slovenia, on 8 April in front of around 300 invited guests.

With a total gross area of over 12,000 square meters, 10,000 of which are for production, the new factory building currently has the capacity to manufacture up to 10,000 Motoman robots per year. Up to 150 new jobs are also to be created in stages, of which around 10% will be in the development department.
