KukaRecord sales - profit shrinks

Kuka has published preliminary figures for the 2017 financial year. In terms of turnover, the Group achieved significant double-digit growth. However, profits were in the red due to high investments and acquisitions.

Preliminary incoming orders reached a new record level of around € 3.6 billion in the past financial year. This represents an increase of 5.6% compared to the previous year's figure. This is the fourth time in a row that Kuka has exceeded the previous year's figure. The increase was achieved primarily through expansion in the General Industry segment.
