The 'Paexo Wrist' exoskeleton has also been available since April 2019. It supports the wrist when lifting and holding heavy objects. Ottobock Industrials derived 'Paexo Wrist' from a medical device that treats wrist inflammation, for example. In industrial applications, it is used preventively to protect the sensitive wrist. Applications include holding suppliers and welding equipment or moving/assembling generators or starters. The material of the exoskeleton adapts to the wearer's skin temperature.
