The increasingly noticeable general economic slowdown in Kuka's focus markets of the automotive and electronics industries had an impact on both order intake and sales. At the end of 2018, the Group's order backlog amounted to 2.05 billion euros, a decrease of 4.7% compared to the previous year (2.16 billion euros).
