Hannover Messe 2018 came to an end on April 27. For the first time, it was held together with the logistics trade fair CeMat and the leading trade fair IAMD. Around 210,000 visitors came to Hannover this year to attend the world's most important industrial trade fair.

ABB, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Rittal presented the 'Secure Edge Data Center' (SEDC) for industrial environments and telecommunications at the Hannover Messe. This enables companies to operate their high-performance IT systems in close proximity to their machines and systems to enable lower latency times and secure and reliable digital processes.
