Technically, the industrial robot from Kuka is positioned between the 'KR Quantec' and 'KR Fortec ultra'. It is also available with an extended arm, allowing loads of 240 kg to be handled over a reach of 3700 mm. The two central hands have been adopted from the 'KR Quantec' and 'KR Fortec ultra' models and are waterproof and dustproof as standard. The 'KR Fortec' can be operated at 0 to 55°C. Several foundry versions are available for harsh and dirty environments. The working range of the robot can be extended with the 'KL 4000' linear unit - modularly adaptable between 1.5 m and 30 m. The 'KR Quantec' also fits on this linear unit. To work with the 'KR Fortec ultra' on the same linear unit, users choose the 'KL 5000'.
