Robots within the OT infrastructure form a separate, complex and interconnected system with specific protocols and tools and therefore require dedicated protection. Together, Kaspersky 'Industrial CyberSecurity' and 'Robot Immune System', a dedicated robot endpoint protection platform from Alias Robotics, protect all layers of the OT environment in which robots are used - from robot controllers to processes and operations.

'Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Networks' enables the management of network resources and detects network attacks and anomalies in OT environments. 'Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes' provides complex protection for industrial control stations, while the 'Robot Immune System' offers dedicated protection for robot controllers.

"Robots have their own networks, technologies, security requirements and business priorities, all of which need to be addressed in specific ways," explains Víctor Mayoral Vilches, CTO and founder at Alias Robotics. "These systems require specific cybersecurity measures to be taken directly at the endpoint to ensure that no human is harmed. As of today, our Robot Immune System (RIS) supports more than 40 different robots."

Anton Shipulin, Solution Business Lead, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity, adds: "As OT infrastructure becomes more complex, it is important to increase security for all components and levels. Protective measures and tools should work together seamlessly to cover the entire environment. With the increasing implementation of industrial robots, the partnership with Alias Robotics enables our customers who use robots in their infrastructure to meet the demand for reliable protection."
