Control up to 15 axes

B&R is expanding its modular 'mapp Technology' software kit: 'mapp Robox' and 'mapp Teach' can be used to parameterize and commission any robot kinematics. With 'mapp Robox', any robot kinematics with up to 15 axes can be controlled.

Developers are completely free to implement their kinematics and at the same time benefit from the features of 'mapp Technology' in terms of parameterization, visualization and diagnostics. In the next step, 'mapp Teach' helps to teach the robot which movements it should make. According to the manufacturer, teaching the paths and managing the processes is simple and convenient. 'mapp Technology' consists of encapsulated individual modules that provide basic functions that are parameterized graphically. This reduces the programming effort by an average of 67%. All modules are connected via 'mapp-Link': Based on the client-server principle, each component automatically retrieves all the required data from the other components.
