Inka Krischke,

Compatible with lightweight robots

The Zimmer Group's Match end-of-arm ecosystem is compatible with almost every common lightweight robot. The system is suitable for cobots and conventional 6-axis robots, even in automated continuous operation.

The standardization potential of Zimmer 's system enables manual or automated replacement of end effectors using a click system, regardless of whether they are suction cups or grippers. In addition to the standardized, mechanical interaction between the robot arm and end effector, the system ensures simplified machine communication thanks to the simplified communication interface. Robots from a wide range of manufacturers can be combined with the ecosystem via Plug&Work. All necessary communication parameters are available in I/O, IO-Link or with the customer's own SCM. Direct function control and monitoring is ensured by physical components and software solutions through the app tailored to the respective robot manufacturer.
