Comau
Takeover of Automha
Comau has signed a binding agreement to acquire Automha. The Italian company is active in the field of warehousing and intralogistics automation and is owned by Trasma.
Under the terms of the agreement, Comau will acquire 100% of Automha's shares, creating new opportunities in the fast-growing warehousing and logistics sector. To ensure business continuity, Automha will continue to operate with the same structure, management and strategic vision. Franco Togni will remain CEO, while Gianni Togni and Roberta Togni will join Comau's Executive Committee in addition to their current roles.
This agreement is in line with the strategy behind the recent change in Comau's shareholder structure - the majority stake of which is now held by One Equity Partners, an international private equity firm. With this acquisition, the company confirms and strengthens its Italian roots and operations, while expanding its global offering and international presence. In parallel, Automha will be able to further develop and grow its business by leveraging an expanded geographic footprint and in-house technology capabilities. In addition, the relationship between Comau and Automha will strengthen the joint project portfolio due to their full complementarity.
