AMR for loads up to 900 kg

For more efficient material handling in production, Omron offers the autonomous mobile robots (AMR) 'MD-650' and 'MD-900' with an average payload of 650 and 900 kg. The AMRs operate at a maximum speed of 2.2 m/s (MD-650) and 1.8 m/s (MD-900).

Navigation functions and algorithms to avoid obstacles enable Omron 's mobile assistants to drive even in narrow aisles. The new battery and charging technology enables an operating time of eight hours with a 30-minute charge (MD-650) or 7.5 hours (MD-900). A transport system can provide integrated routes for up to 100 mobile robots with different payloads and control the transfer sequence in real time. The linking within a system enables real-time routing for cross-process transfers at different production speeds. This enables particularly efficient transfers to be achieved with minimal holdback times. The MD series complies with ISO 3691-4, the current safety standard for driverless industrial trucks and their systems.
