The rc_viscore 3D stereo sensor delivers an image resolution of 12 MP and generates a correspondingly detailed point cloud as well as depth, confidence and defect images. It is suitable, for example, for detecting small parts just a few centimeters in size, even in large detection areas with a working distance of up to 4 m. In combination with Roboception's 'rc_cube', the sensor provides the image data for object detection and gripping point calculation, for example in industrial automation and logistics. It is compatible with all 'rc_reason' software modules. The already integrated pattern projector 'rc_randomdot' allows it to be used even with difficult or weakly textured objects. The 3D stereo sensor is designed for an ambient operating temperature of 0 to +45 °C and works with convective (passive) cooling. It can be mounted both stationary and mobile, for example on linear axes.
