The robot from Kuka is specially designed for demanding palletizing tasks. Thanks to its reduced footprint, it requires very little space. In terms of cycle times, the robot is up to 10% faster than its predecessor model with a comparable payload: the robot type with a payload of 240 kg, for example, achieves 28.3 cycles per minute. The axis speeds have also been increased, which is advantageous for layer formation during palletizing or long 180° rotational movements, for example. The palletizing robot is also available in the 'Hygienic Oil' (HO) version to meet the requirements of the consumer goods industry, especially the food industry in the secondary sector. All axes and the energy supply system are equipped with NSF H1 food-grade lubricants. Both the robots in the HO version and the standard models are designed for the 'KR C5' robot controller.
