Second managing director appointed

Eduard B. Wagner, founder and Managing Director of Insys icom, appoints Florian Froschermeier as second Managing Director. This organizational change took effect on 1 April 2024.

This decision reorganizes the areas of responsibility, with both managing directors sharing overall responsibility for Insys icom. As Managing Director, Froschermeier will focus on the areas of product and customer. Wagner will now devote himself to the commercial areas of quality, finance, procurement, IT and personnel. The sales division will be jointly developed by both managing directors. Froschermeier will primarily drive forward digital sales, while Wagner will expand cooperation with customers and partners in the market.

Froschermeier has been working for the company since 2016, most recently as Head of Product Management. Previously, he advised customers with special technical requirements as Technical Sales Manager and was involved in the development of IoT solutions as a software engineer. Before joining the company, he gained experience at Audi, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft in the USA and Airbus, among others.

Insys icom focuses on secure communication and the networking of data in industrial applications and offers hardware and software solutions (Managed Devices and Services) that enable machines, systems and other devices to be accessed remotely and their operating data to be transmitted.
