Condition monitoring (CM) as a process for ensuring high availability of machines and systems by means of remote monitoring is increasingly becoming a key component of I4.0 business models. Schildknecht, a specialist in radio data transmission and IIoT, is presenting a CM solution as a complete system. It consists of a Bosch multi-component sensor for up to eight measured variables (signal transmission via Bluetooth), the Schildknecht edge gateway Dataegle 2730 including its eSIM card for globally available connectivity as well as measurement data evaluation and display on the 'Dataeagle Portal Dashboard'. Users can choose between four 'monitoring packages' with different transmission intervals (hourly to weekly cycles) for the data to adapt it to their application; an alarm version for predictive maintenance solutions is also available.
