electronic displays Conference 2018
Top-class congress program now online
On February 28 and March 1, 2018, the international display community will meet at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg for the 32nd time.
Once again this year, the electronic displays Conference will underpin the performance and innovative strength of the global display industry with first-class specialist knowledge. The central aims of the conference are to impart precise knowledge, highlight trends and current topics, take a look into the future and, last but not least, engage in professional dialog.
There are only a few months to go until the embedded world Exhibition&Conference kicks off. The electronic displays Conference, which today is synonymous with all relevant information on displays for developers, users and decision-makers, will once again take place as part of this largest specialist event for embedded systems. "Like the embedded world Exhibition & Conference, the electronic displays Conference has also developed magnificently.
The conference has been growing continuously for years, and the 32nd edition will be bigger than ever. We are very pleased about this outstanding development of the electronic displays Conference. This year, we will once again be able to offer participants a large number of top-class presentations by international experts. The number of first-class submissions and the feedback from the industry impressively underline the importance of the conference for the entire display industry," says Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Blankenbach, Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences and Chairman of the Conference Advisory Board.
Highlights in 2018 include keynote speeches on market trends and display technologies, presented by internationally recognized experts. Success factors for displays in automotive applications and the latest trends in touchscreens are further key topics and highlights of the conference. The program is rounded off by sessions such as display measurement technology, e-paper displays, interfaces and new "hot" topics such as AR/VR. The proven author interviews after each session offer an excellent opportunity to discuss what has been heard in a small group.
As in previous years, there will be a special highlight for students: the Student Paper Award will be presented for the best bachelor's or master's thesis on the topic of electronic displays.
