New Managing Director DACH appointed

Gierse has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the energy, automation and digitalization sectors. Most recently, he served as Zone President DACH and CEO of Schneider Electric, where he drove growth and transformation across the region. Prior to joining Schneider Electric, he held several senior positions at Siemens, including Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Factory Automation and Executive Vice President of Global Strategy for Siemens Digital Industries.

After four and a half years of making an important contribution to the growth and further development of RS and looking back on a long and very successful career, Ralf Hellwig would like to devote more time to his family. However, he remains committed to RS and will continue to work on the key priorities for the success of the DACH region and the company.

"I am very much looking forward to using my experience and personal values to set the course for the continued success of RS in the DACH region. After my strong involvement on the manufacturer side, I am excited to switch to distribution. RS's customer-centric and sustainability-oriented approach particularly appeals to me," explains Stefan Gierse.
