The goals of the newly established SSE management team: In addition to complete solutions that complement hardware and software with services, standard products in the field of box and panel PCs as well as remote monitor systems are also to be developed in the 2019 financial year: "The development of a modular standard product range in the field of industrial box and panel PCs enables us to simplify and accelerate customer solutions. We can use our experience with complex projects to quickly implement smart products," says Matthias Klein. The modular product range will be presented for the first time at SPS 2019 in Nuremberg.

The operating solutions will incorporate new technologies into the devices: "We are constantly developing our modern operating concepts and adding haptic and 'SmartWheel' functions to the existing multi-touch solutions, for example. We want to make established technologies from the consumer environment, such as gesture control, suitable for industrial use where they actually make sense in practice," says Matthias Klein, commenting on the company's strategic direction.

While SSE's market position is currently still heavily focused on the DACH region, the aim is to generate stronger growth in international Europe in the medium term.
