With the industrial-grade MT2010 tablet, JLT Mobile Computers is targeting industries such as warehousing, transportation and port facilities, as well as beverage and food logistics. Specifically, the company is targeting customers who use ruggedized vehicle-mounted terminals (VMTs) in trucks or forklifts and have indicated a need for additional tablets and handheld terminals to manage related business applications. The "MT2010" tablet is equipped with a 10-inch, projective-capacitive touchscreen display that is dust and waterproof, can be used in temperatures ranging from -10 to +50 °C and can withstand a fall from a height of 1.2 m onto concrete without damage.
