Scandit, provider of a mobile data capture platform based on proprietary image processing technology, machine learning and augmented reality, offers the Scandit Case for Android. The scan case works with selected Android smartphones and protects mobile devices during everyday use. Thanks to its ergonomic shape and various possible scanning positions, the solution offers greater flexibility and low weight compared to dedicated barcode scanners and mobile computers. The smartphone becomes a professional barcode scanner without programming or further integration when users load the "Scandit Keyboard Wedge" app onto the smartphone and configure it for the case. The manufacturer's "Split View" technology allows users to choose their preferred scanning method: traditional point-to-scan barcode reading or scanning via the camera viewfinder to scan multiple barcodes simultaneously.
