With the ETT series, Sigmatek is launching operating panels equipped with an ARM-based EDGE2 technology dual-core processor with 2 × 800 MHz. A 512 MByte DDR RAM internal program and data memory and 512 MByte memory (micro SD) for recipe, alarm management and data logging are included as standard, as well as a 2D and 3D graphics accelerator. In these HMIs with projective capacitive touch technology (PCT), the sensors are protected on the back of the surface glass front (protection class IP65). Up to 10-finger inputs as well as touch pens and thin gloves are possible. There are five ETT display sizes to start with: 8.4, 10.4, 12.1, 15 and 19 inches in the classic 4:3 format. The panels with an installation depth of 48 mm can be integrated directly into the machine, into a control panel or in the control cabinet. The interfaces are selected so that the HMIs fit into any machine and system design: 2 × Ethernet, 2 × USB 2.0, 1 × USB OTG (On-the-Go) and 1 × CAN bus. There are also 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs on board, which can be used for command and signaling devices such as toggle switches, signal towers and operating mode switches. The ETTs do not require a fan. All connections are at the bottom.
