Handling and assembly technologyNew products at Motek 2016
What does Motek 2016 have to offer in terms of new products from the fields of material flow, handling technology and industrial handling? Computer&AUTOMATION shows a selection of products from over 900 exhibitors in a series of pictures.

Current robot models at the Yaskawa stand are the first representatives of the new Motoman GP series and the collaborative Motoman HC10 models. According to the manufacturer, the GP robots with a payload capacity of 7 kg and 8 kg respectively are not only the fastest in their class, but are also fully IP67-rated. The model with a reach of 1.2 m and a handling weight of 10 kg is to be approved in accordance with the ISO TS15066 technical specification. The HC10 guarantees the required safety in direct contact with the operator thanks to force/torque sensors in all axes, which are designed to enable flexible interaction between the robot arm and its environment. In addition, the Motofit force control interface developed by Yaskawa, which is used together with the Motoman MH5F handling robot, is designed to combine the possibilities of efficient controller technology and the latest generation of manipulators. This means that components can be inserted precisely even if they have been presented imprecisely.
