High brightness
MSC Technologies presents three new 17.78 cm (7.0 inch) TFT displays from Evervision with WVGA and WSVGA resolution.
According to the manufacturer, a special feature of the industrial displays is their brightness of up to 1750 cd/m², which allows a good screen display and high readability even in bright sunlight with high contrast. The high luminance is achieved by efficient LED backlighting. The high brightness makes the TFT displays particularly suitable for outdoor applications. The devices have also been designed for applications with high energy efficiency or minimal self-heating. The displays are available in three versions. The VGG804806-6UFLW device offers WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels) and a brightness of 1750 cd/m² - with IPCT touch panel 1250 cd/m². The VGG106004-6UFLW display with WSVGA resolution (1024 x 600) delivers 1000 cd/m², with IPCT touch panel 880 cd/m². The VGG106007-0TSLW model has a WSVGA IPS resolution (1024 x 600) and is characterized by a brightness of 1500 cd/m², with an IPCT touch panel of 1230 cd/m². Variants with resistive touchscreens and/or backlight LED drivers with PWM brightness control are optionally available.
