Recording forces and torques in three axes

The multi-component measuring platforms of the MPF series from GTM are used for high-precision multi-component measurement of forces and torques in the three axes (x, y, z).

The GTM series contains several individual force transducers that are carefully aligned and mechanically decoupled from each other. This makes the measuring platforms insensitive to interference loads. Each multi-component measuring platform is designed and individually manufactured together with the customer, focusing on the specific application. The number of force sensors in the multi-component measuring platform depends on the individual customer or application requirements. In most cases, six, seven or eight individual precision force sensors are used. The dimensions of a multi-component measuring platform depend on the design connection dimensions and expected loads. Typical application examples for the series are applications that require very different sensitivities and accuracies in different directions - for example in wind tunnel applications and rolling resistance test benches.
