In addition to the classic, analog 0 to 10 V output signal, digital interfaces such as RS485, Ethercat or Profinet enable connection to intelligent process control systems. Preventive maintenance via the Profinet interface enables direct integration into an existing Profinet network with a PLC, which can also take over the entire monitoring of the process. According to Thyracont, the Profinet modules are MRP-capable, have a high speed with low power consumption and can be updated. In addition to the measured values, the user can also evaluate data on sensor wear, the time of the last readjustment and the number of operating hours. This makes it easier to plan maintenance intervals, procure any necessary spare parts in good time and optimize system running times. All parameters are also available in the 'Thyracont VacuGraph' software.
